Perhaps some may question the inclusion
of Jowett as a thoroughbred, but this was one exceptional car. With a
level of luxury inside that bettered many exotic cars, its handling
and ride qualities were as good at is got at that time. The quality was
also better than some exotics. Servicing spark plugs was not a time
to like Javelins however, as access was through the inner wheel arches.
In my mind it is a car that deserved better and perhaps if the marque had
survived, there might have been a British car industry now!
